of our clients come to us when they are
undergoing major life transitions or experiencing intense stress in their personal relationships.
If Centro Mujeres were not able, through grant funding and private donations, to offer its services at a greatly reduced price, most of our clients would find it impossible to afford the counseling, clinical and support services they require

The Center’s fundraising activities subsidize these reduced-fee services. Like many nonprofit organizations in the post-September 11 funding climate, we have seen our need for private donations greatly increase.

Your tax-deductible donation to Centro Mujeres will help ensure that long-standing and vital programs and services keep running and will allow us to continue addressing quality of life-related issues for women and youth in Mexico.

Your donation to Centro Mujeres will allow us to:

    • $15: Provide a medical consultation
    • $50: Provide a cervical and breast cancer prevention workshop for 30 women
    • $75: Purchase materials for 50 pregnancy tests
    • $100: Provide 5 counseling sessions
    • $150: Provide materials for migrant-women outreach
    • $250: Maintain the teen pregnancy prevention project for a full month
    • $500: Maintain our women’s and adolescent health programs for a full month
